I am Research Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting, College of Management and Social Sciences, Bowen University. My expertise and accomplishments in the field of Accounting have focused on my commitment to high-quality academic teaching and research as well as my commitment to producing high-quality professional accountants as well researchers in the field of Accounting. My vision is to prepare students to be change-makers in their professional workforces after graduation. Also, my vision as a professor is to instill the belief in my students that they can achieve anything. I will show them compassion and fairness and strive to mold them into independent thinkers that try to find solutions for themselves. I will instill in the students to be open-minded and be creative thinkers, who will meet the challenges of their generation by embracing enterprise, self-confidence, creativity, and social justice in all their endeavors. My capability in this area earned me the position of Director, Centre for Entrepreneurship Development Studies in Landmark University from 2016 to 2018.
My teaching and publication prowess coupled with my immense administrative skills in three (3) Universities where I worked and currently working will be of very good advantage in the Professor of Accounting position. I started as Lecturer One (I) in 2009 at Novena University, Ogume, Delta State but relocated to Landmark University, Omu Aran in 2011 and where I rise through the ranks to the position of a Senior Lecturer in 2018 and left to Bowen University in 2022. I have research publications to my credit and want to use my research ability to position the University where work to be more competitive for research and instructional funding. I have been involved in the training of students preparing for the professional accountancy examination since 2008 and I have produced many chartered accountants
