Agriculture Programme
OGUNTUNJI, Abel Olusegun is a lecturer in the Animal Science and Fisheries Management Unit, Agriculture Programme in the College of Agriculture, Engineering and Science.
At present, he is the Head of Programme of Agriculture. He teaches courses in Animal breeding, Genetics and Biostatistics both at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.
His research focus is in the area of Quantitative Genetics and Animal Breeding, with emphasis on characterization, genetic evaluation and improvement of indigenous livestock species especially Nigerian local Muscovy ducks, an underutilized and poorly-researched livestock in Nigeria.
