Abiodun Adeseye Akintunde currently works at the Cardiology Unit in the Department of Medicine, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria. He is currently on a short sabatical stint at the Department of Medicine, Bowen University, Iwo, Nigeria. He is a research fellow, Clinical cardiologist and a teacher. He is involved in many ongoing projects including the Iron Deficiency Anaemia in Heart Failure (IDAN-HF)study among others. He is a German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Alumnus from the Eberhard Karls University. Tubingen, Germany.He is also the present Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian Cardiac Society.
