Akingbolabo Daniel OGUNLAKIN
Research Fellow I
college of AGRICULTURE, ENGINEERING AND SCIENCE (COAES)
Biochemistry Programme
A lecturer in Biochemistry programme, Bowen University, Iwo. Osun state. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Honours degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State and M.Sc. as well as Ph.D degrees in Pharmacognosy from university of Ibadan. He emerged as one of the best students in her MSc class in Department of Pharmacognosy with a Ph.D grade where he completed her doctoral programme as well.
Dr Akingbolabo D. Ogunlakin worked on indigenous medicinal plants from Nigerian ethnomedicine with anti- polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) effect (via in vivo, in vitro and in silico models). He designed an in vitro approach for PCOS assay. He hopes to explore phytochemical methods to investigate the safety and efficacy of the phytomedicines commonly used in Nigeria in order to provide scientific validation on their medicinal claims. Dr Akingbolabo D. Akingbolabo grasp new concepts with ease and is endowed with a very inquisitive mind. He is highly focused character with an insatiable thirst for knowledge.
