Public Health Programme
A public health specialist and an Assistant Professor at the Public Health Programme of College of Health Sciences, Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, Nigeria. For over 10 years, he has been involved in teaching of public health subjects as well as public health research, collaborative works and consultancy services. Dr Ogunwale is presently a co-investigator and qualitative research lead on a grant award by Bill and Melinda Gate focusing on “the burden and determinants of malaria to inform tailoring of interventions (microstratification) in Ibadan and Kano Metropolis”. Over the years, he has been involved in the supervision of undergraduate students as well as mentored several young researchers and health professionals on various public health issues. He is presently co-supervising a doctoral candidate at the Maastrict University, Netherland. Dr. Ogunwale has CITI ethics training certification for Biomedical Research and Social & Behavioural Research. He has published over 30 publications including peer-reviewed papers in reputable international and local journals.

Conducted several research works covering various public health issues including sexual violence, malaria epidemiology, epidemiology of viral hepatitis, maternal health and operational research. He has extensive research experience in both quantitative and qualitative research.
