Dr Aniekan Imo Peter is an Associate Professor of Anatomy in department of Anatomy, College of Health Sciences.- COHES. Bowen University on sabbatical leave. he has been able to make Anatomy easy by concentrating in innovative teaching and student-centered learning for more than a decade. The Dean/ Senior Assistant provost Faculty of Basic Medical and Health Sciences/ Deputy Provost since August 2022. I was Acting Provost College of Medicine December 2022 to February 2023 and Member of Business committee of the Senate (BCOS).

Before sabbatical in Bowen University, Dr Aniekan Imo Peter was the award winning Head of department of Anatomy , Vice Dean and Acting Dean at several occasions at the University of Uyo, Uyo. Nigeria from 2019 till 2022.
