David Tarh-Akong Eyongndi is an Assistant Professor at the Private and Commercial Law Programme, College of Law, Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, Nigeria. His research focuses on: Labour and Employment Law, International Commercial Arbitration, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Private International Law and Human Rights. He is a member of several professional and learned societies including but not limited to the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Nigerian Association of Law Teachers (NALT), Association of Young Arbitrators (AYA); Member, ADR Society of Nigeria (ADR SN), Member, African Labour Law Society (ALLS), and Labour Law Research Network (LLRN). He has published over one hundred articles in peer reviewed domestic and international journals. Eyongndi is happily married with children.

Research
Eyongndi’s research on Labour and Employment Law deals with issues revolving around protection of rights of vulnerable workers such as apprentice, immigrants, domestic workers, and young persons. Women employment rights’ is another area which his research focuses; on themes such as maternity protection, and statutory gender gaps. His research in this field also concentrate on the rise and prevalence of non-standard work arrangements in Nigeria with particularity on issues such as casualisation of labour, labour outsourcing, triangular employment practices, ILO decent work agenda and the world of works. He also interrogates the working and practice of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria especially its evolving employee protectionist jurisprudence and challenges confronting administration of justice by the court as well as way-forward.
In the area of ADR and International Commercial Arbitration; his research cut across contemporary issues such as access to justice through ADR, Third Party Funding of arbitration in Nigeria, the need for re-evaluation of mandatory arbitration in Nigeria, and Court connected ADR Practice.
