In line with the Vision and Mandate of Bowen University to be a leading Research University, the Directorate of Research and Strategic Partnerships incorporates into the core of its operational strategies, a consistent drive for continuous improvement as key to achieving excellence. With this aim in mind, it becomes imperative to develop new approaches to guide members of faculty and staff in the conduct of competitive research and publishing in high impact journal outlets.
The Directorate of Research and Strategic Partnerships is headed by a Director and assisted by a Deputy Director. The Directorate has two component units with each having a specific focus. These units include:

To develop policy guidelines for responsible conduct in Research Enterprises that is globally competitive and acceptable.
The Directorate of Research and Strategic Partnerships has a robust reward system to recognize exceptional researchers in the University using uncompromised data from SCOPUS/SCIVAL database. The University also pays article processing charges for publications that are listed in SCOPUS journals.
