A professor of English and holds a teaching and research position in the English Programme, College of Liberal Studies. She had been the Acting Head of Department of English, Deputy Dean, Faculty of Humanities, Acting Provost of College of Liberal Studies. She is the immediate past Director of Quality Assurance. she has also been the chair and member of various committees especially the University Ceremonials Committee and Staff Disciplinary Committee. Grace Olutayo is the Congregation representative on the University Governing Council.
