Lere Amusan is a professor of International Relations with research focus on food politics and policies. He also has interest in political economy and foreign policy analysis. He has published widely and attended conferences in five continents. Lere is currently the Provost of the College of Management and Social Sciences. He is serving on several committees in the University.

Research
Presently, my research focuses on food security and food sovereignty. These have taken me to the issue of Genetically Modified food where I am vigorously pushing for organic food as against unhealthy food that only satisfy agro-businesses for healthy profit.
