LAW Programme
Mary-Ann Onoshioke Ajayi, is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and a Professor of Law at the College of Law Bowen University. She holds an LL. B; B.L; LL.M and PhD, from the University of Ibadan. She started her teaching career in 2008 at the Faculty of Law, Lead City University, Ibadan where she served as Sub-Dean between 2012 and 2016. Her areas of interest in in research are: Comparative African Jurisprudence, Human rights, Gender Justice and Labour Law. She has researched extensively on these areas and presented papers at both national and International conferences. She belongs to a number of Professional Associations some of which are: The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA); FIDA; National Association of law Teachers (NALT); International Association for the Study of Forced Migration (ISAFM). She currently serves as the first Vice President, Society for Protection of Animal Rights (SARP). She has served in various committees within the University one of which is Head of Unit, Extended Remedial Programme and the Chairman of the ERP Committee. She is currently the Programme Coordinator at the College of Law, Bowen University.
