Olanrewaju Iyanuoluwa LATEJU is a Christian of the Baptist denomination. He graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University with a Diploma in Dramatic Arts in 2013, afterward proceeding to Bowen University in Late 2013, which he then graduated in 2017 obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies from Bowen University. In 2017 he worked briefly as an Administrative Officer at the Kaduna State Polytechnic, Kaduna before proceeding to the Religious Studies Programme, Bowen University in 2019. He currently works as a Teaching Assistant at the Religious Studies Programme, Bowen University, Iwo. He has helped in graduating a good number students from the Programme. Over the years as an academic he has participated in various conferences like the First Joint International Conference between Bowen University Iwo and African Studies Institute University of Georgia U.S.A, on Religion and Ethnicity in the Making of Nigeria’s Fourth Republic, held at Bowen University Iwo, also the International Conference on Decolonising the Humanities in the African Academy, which took place at Faculty of Arts, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, amongst many other conferences.
His research interest is in the area of Christian-Muslim relations and Interfaith Dialogue. To this end he has undergone courses from United States Institutes of Peace in Negotiation, Designing Community Based Dialogue, Conflict Analysis, Preparing for peace building and Gender inclusivity in Peace building. He has just concluded his Masters of Arts degree programme M.A. in Comparative Religions, at Religious Studies Programme Bowen University, Iwo.
