Oluwatosin Ebenezer Atobatele is a Professor of Environmental Biology in the Pure and Applied Biology programme of the College of Agriculture, Engineering and Science, Bowen University, Iwo, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2008. He was a former Acting Head of Department, Biological Sciences (2012 – 2015), former Acting Dean, Student Affairs (2015 – 2018), former Director Academic Planning and Monitoring (2020-2021) and currently the Deputy Vice-Chancellor since 2021. His current research is on the ecology of the straw-coloured fruit bat, Eidolon helvum and monitoring of inland freshwater bodies. He has taught full-time for 21 years, and has been involved in external Postgraduate examination since 2016.
