My research activities focused on corporate governance and financial performance. In extending the frontier of knowledge in this research area, I have published articles in both local and international journals and therefore contributed to the body of knowledge in this area. My Ph.D thesis was also written on corporate governance in which I was able to contribute to the existing knowledge through discoveries of corporate governance variables that have significant influence on financial performance of insurance companies in Nigeria.
