Dr. Tola Yinka Bakare holds a teaching position with the College of Health Sciences, Bowen University, Iwo, Nigeria as well, an Honourary Consultant in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso, Oyo, Nigeria. Dr. Bakare is currently the course coordinator in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Bowen University, Iwo, Nigeria.

Research

To date, my research can be broadly summarized into 2 thrusts: gynaecologic oncology and general Obstetrics and Gynaecology with emphasis on reducing maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality.

Institutional Service
  • Clinical instructor to undergraduate Medical students in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Physiotherapy and Nursing students.
  • Organizing clinical, tutorial sessions and seminars of medical students.
  • Teaching postgraduate residents in and those on rotation in the department.
  • Member Bowen university Teaching Hospital research committee.
