Dr Uche Osakede is a seasoned researcher with a doctoral degree in Economics under the Collaborative PhD program by the African Economic Research Consortium. She was the overall best graduating student in the department of Economics University of Ibadan in 2008 during her M.Sc program and received the Social Science Deans award for best graduating student in same year. She is well travelled to several parts of the globe attending local and international conferences and academic research workshops. Her trips covers several countries some of which are Ethiopia- Addis Ababa, Zambia, Kenya-Nairobi, Ghana-Accra, South Africa-Cape town. She has published widely in renowned peer review journals and also obtained several research grants after her doctoral program particularly with the AERC. She majors in health, development, public sector economics and to some extent in international trade. She is very skillful with the use of analytical soft ware packages such as Stata, SPSS and E-Views. Dr Osakede has collaborated with researchers locally and internationally and is open to collaboration in areas that provide economic opportunities and advancement especially among Africans.
