Utom-Obong Udom AKPAN
Lecturer I
college of HEALTH SCIENCES (COHES)
Anatomy Programme
Currently a lecturer in the Anatomy department of Bowen University College of Health Sciences. He is interested in understanding how the genome translate its impact on the cell to observable changes in tissue architecture and cellular structure. This has led him to undertake research in several animals and plant systems using genetic markers in diverse fields such as molecular identification, pharmacogenomics, cytogenetics, DNA forensics and other applications. His current research interest in neurobiology, reproductive biology and twin characteristics.
