Having obtained her basic medical degree at the University of Ilorin, Dr Olasinde, proceeded to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital for her residency training programme in Paediatrics. She is a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians, and an associate fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. She holds a diploma in Paediatric nutrition from the University of Boston as well as a certificate in Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). She also has a certificate in Health Management and Leadership.
Dr Olasinde works at Bowen University, Iwo, and the Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso as a Senior Lecturer/ Honorary Consultant in the Department of Paediatrics. She has served in many leadership capacities, she was the head of the Department of Paediatrics from 2020 to 2022, she also heads different committees in the Bowen University Teaching Hospital and is currently the Deputy Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee (DCMAC) of the institution.
Dr Olasinde has authored about 30 publications in both local and international journals, and has attended many conferences, both locally and internationally. She is a member of the Paediatric Association of Nigeria (PAN), the Christian Medical and Dental Association of Nigeria (CMDA), the Medical Women Association of Nigeria (MWAN), and the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA).
Dr Olasinde has a special interest in Paediatric haematology as well as Paediatric nutrition and with the burning passion she has for children’s health and wellness, she has been privileged to speak at different gatherings of conferences and seminars to educate parents and caregivers on how to care for children. She also has a passion for mentoring young people.
