Facility Manager

Bowen University, Iwo.
Bowen University Teaching Hospital (BUTH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

Job Description

The job description includes:

• Cleaning of hostels, lecture halls and offices
• Maintenance of grounds and weeding of the hedge rows (lawn mowing and slashing of field)
• Trimming of flowers and trees pruning
• Fumigation / Pest control of the entire campus
• Herbicide application
• Waste management and septic tank evacuation
• Washing of overhead tanks and water reservoirs
• Desilting of blocked drainages
• And other general maintenance

Qualification and Experience

All prospective professionals seeking to be appointed should have excellent track records of facility management in reputable tertiary institutions and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar position. Interested professionals capable of excellent service delivery are advised to visit the University for an on-the-spot assessment of facilities on the campus.

Qualified applicants will be directly responsible to the Parks and Garden Unit through the Directorate of Estate Management but ultimately to the Vice-Chancellor.

Conditions of Services

This is a contract service renewable on a yearly basis, subject to satisfactory performance.
