Information to Students
The Directorate of Students’ Support Services (DSSS) appreciates God for a successful inter-semester break and protection over our students and parents. The Directorate also wishes to inform students that the official resumption for the second semester is Monday, 3rd March, 2025. Consequently, students should take note of the following information:
- The hostels will be open from Sunday, 2nd March, 2025 to enable students to prepare for lectures that will commence on Monday, 3rd March, 2025. Therefore, all students must attend classes regularly and promptly.
- Payment of school fees is a requirement for admission into the hostels. Fresh students, including Direct Entry and transfer students, must have paid ninety percent (90%) of their school fees for the session while returning students must have paid eighty percent (80%) of their school fees to get hostel clearance for the second semester.
- Students are to print out their Hostel Clearance for the second semester and ensure that it is stamped by their respective College Accountants by Monday, 3rd March, 2025. Students without a stamped second semester clearance will not be allowed into the hostels.
- All students are reminded that wearing Identity (ID) Cards on Campus is mandatory. Students caught without their ID cards will be sanctioned. ID Card ropes are available for purchase at the various Colleges.
- Students are also informed that they must adhere strictly to all the information in the Students Handbook. This includes the dress code for lectures, Chapel services, outdoor activities, and returning to the hostels at 9 p.m. Violations of any guidelines will attract sanctions in accordance with the Students Handbook.
- Students are to conduct themselves with dignity and always ensure decorum in all engagements within the University.
The Directorate of Students’ Support Services (DSSS) wishes all students a wonderful and fruitful second semester resumption. We are excited and look forward to excellent interactions and academic achievements this semester.
Kind regards!
Signed.
