The Directorate of Research and Strategic Partnerships (DRSP) at Bowen University is committed to promoting research excellence, fostering innovation, and building meaningful collaborations locally and internationally. DRSP serves as the central hub for coordinating, facilitating, and supporting research activities across all faculties, departments, and research centers within the University.

Core Functions of DRSP
Partnership Development and Coordination:
- Identify and establish strategic collaborations with universities, industries, government agencies, NGOs, and international organizations.
- Facilitate institutional linkages that promote academic development, innovation, and capacity building.
- Coordinate partnership activities and ensure effective implementation of collaborative initiatives.
International Collaboration and Engagement:
- Promote global visibility through international partnerships, exchange programmes, and collaborative initiatives.
- Facilitate institutional participation in regional and international networks, programmes, and engagements.
Stakeholder Relations and External Engagement:
- Strengthen relationships with industry leaders, development organizations, alumni, and external stakeholders.
- Promote mutually beneficial partnerships that support institutional advancement and community impact.
Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and Institutional Agreements:
- Manage the development, review, and monitoring of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and partnership agreements.
- Serve as the liaison between the University and external organizations on collaborative engagements and institutional partnerships.
