About the Office
The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) at Bowen University is a key executive office that assists the Vice-Chancellor in providing strategic leadership, academic oversight, and administrative guidance across the University.
The DVC ensures that the University’s academic programs, research initiatives, and administrative operations align with Bowen University’s mission of Excellence and Godliness. The office plays a vital role in enhancing institutional performance, promoting quality education, and supporting both staff and students in achieving their full potential.

Role of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor serves as the principal assistant to the Vice-Chancellor in the following areas:
- Overseeing the academic affairs of all faculties, schools, and departments.
- Monitoring research activities, postgraduate programs, and academic standards.
- Supporting faculty and student development initiatives.
- Ensuring effective coordination and implementation of University policies.
- Representing the Vice-Chancellor in University committees, meetings, and official functions.
