About the Office
The Office of the Registrar is the administrative heart of Bowen University, responsible for coordinating all academic and administrative processes that ensure the smooth running of the University. The Office serves as the primary custodian of institutional records, academic policies, and official communications within the University community.
As the central administrative hub, the Registrar’s Office supports students, faculty, and staff in achieving Bowen University’s mission of providing holistic education built on excellence, integrity, and godliness.

Core Functions of the Office
Academic Administration:
- Oversees student admissions, registration, academic records, and graduation processes.
- Coordinates Senate meetings and ensures implementation of academic policies and decisions.
- Manages official student documentation, transcripts, and certifications.
Governance and University Secretariat:
- Serves as the secretariat to the University’s Governing Council, Senate, and other statutory committees.
- Ensures accurate documentation and communication of institutional decisions.
- Upholds regulatory compliance with national education authorities and accrediting bodies.
Student Support and Communication:
- Provides guidance and administrative support to students on registration, certification, and related academic matters.
- Ensures transparent and efficient communication between students and University management.
Staff Administration and Records:
- Maintains comprehensive records for all academic and non-academic staff.
- Oversees staff appointments, promotions, and deployment in line with University policy.
- Ensures compliance with institutional regulations and HR best practices.
Policy Implementation and Institutional Coordination:
- Facilitates the effective implementation of University statutes, policies, and regulations.
- Coordinates between various faculties, directorates, and administrative units to maintain operational harmony.
