The Office of the Vice-Chancellor is the highest executive office at Bowen University, providing visionary leadership and strategic direction for the University’s academic, administrative, and spiritual development. As the chief executive officer, the Vice-Chancellor oversees the implementation of the University’s mission to produce graduates who combine academic excellence with Godly character, innovation, and service to humanity.
The Office ensures that all operations align with the founding philosophy of Bowen University — Excellence and Godliness — fostering an environment where learning, research, and moral integrity thrive.

Role of the Vice-Chancellor

- Ensuring that the University upholds the highest standards of teaching, learning, and research.
- Representing Bowen University in national and international forums.
- Overseeing all academic programs, research initiatives, and administrative functions.
- Strengthening partnerships with stakeholders, including the Nigerian Baptist Convention, government agencies, industry, and global institutions.
