The Programmes
Architecture
Bowen’s Architecture programme offers a blend of creativity, technology, and sustainable design principles, preparing students for careers as architects, urban planners, and designers. With a strong emphasis on practical skills and innovative thinking, Bowen architecture students who came 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the Osun Architects’ Sustainable Information Synthesis 7.0, and had their winning entry for the competition displayed at the UIA World Congress of Architects, Denmark in 2023, are equipped to tackle real-world architectural challenges, making it the best option for candidates to study Architecture. Programme entry requirements:
- O’LEVEL: Five (5) credit passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any of Technical Drawing/Fine Art/Geography/Biology/Economics/Further Mathematics, or any other relevant subject.
- JAMB: English, Physics, Mathematics, and any of Chemistry/Geography/Art/Biology/Economics.
Surveying and Geo-Informatics
The Surveying & Geo-Informatics programme focuses on spatial data management, analysis, and mapping, preparing students for careers in land surveying, urban planning, and geographic information systems (GIS). With a curriculum that integrates theory with hands-on experience using cutting-edge technology, Bowen ensures graduates are ready to meet the demands of the dynamic geospatial industry. Programme entry requirements:
- O’LEVEL: Five (5) credit passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any of Technical Drawing/Fine Art/Geography/Biology/Economics/Further Mathematics, or any other relevant subject.
- JAMB: English, Physics, Mathematics, and any of Chemistry/Geography/Art/Biology/Economics.
