Research
As a dedicated researcher in the field of Women’s Health and a skilled family physician with a focus on Generational Medicine, my work encompasses a multifaceted approach to ensuring the well-being of women across different life stages, and importantly the family which includes men and children.
In the realm of Women’s Health, my research delves into critical aspects such as infertility management, antenatal care, and labor care. I have explored innovative interventions for infertility, acknowledging both medical and psychological dimensions to enhance conception rates. Additionally, my studies have contributed to the development of improved antenatal care programs, prioritizing early detection of risk factors and optimizing maternal and fetal health outcomes. The investigation into labor care practices has aimed at improving the birthing experience, reducing complications, and ensuring the overall health of both mother and child as well as maternal satisfaction with maternity services.
Simultaneously, as a family physician, my research extends to the domain of Generational Medicine. I have undertaken projects that emphasize primary care, patient-centered care and continuity of care, addressing the unique health needs of men, women and children at various life stages. This holistic approach recognizes the interconnectedness of family health and explores how interventions at one life stage can positively influence health outcomes across generations.
The overarching goal of my research is to contribute evidence-based insights to both the medical, surgical and public health communities, informing the development of comprehensive strategies and policies that promote the health and well-being of women and their families throughout their lives.
