2020/2021 Admission Examination Exercise

This is to inform the General Public that Bowen University 2020/2021 Admissions exercise have commence. Applicant are requested to follow the under-listed steps:


STEP 1 – Go to ugadmissions.bowen.edu.ng to fill out and submit your application form.
STEP 2 – Take your Computer-Based Post UTME Examination Online at home or anywhere you are, based on the Bowen Examination time-table.
STEP 3 – Get your result immediately.

Information to Students on Online Examination (GST, GEL, EES & CSA)

As you may be aware, online examination for University-wide courses commence on Monday 1st June, 2020. This correspondence is written because of the need to cascade the decision of the management on the 2019/2020 Online Examination for University-wide courses.

The Vice-Chancellor, acting on behalf of the Senate has directed that University-wide courses like General Studies (GST), Godliness, Excellence and Leadership (GEL), Entrepreneurship and Employability Studies (EES) and Computer Skills Acquisition (CSA) should be examined online using Computer Based Test (CBT) from Monday 1st to Tuesday 9th June, 2020.

I wish to communicate further that there will not be lectures during this period to give students unbroken attention for the examination. Online lectures for College/Programme based courses will however resume after the examination.

By way of additional information, students who are yet to pay their fees will not be qualified to write the examination as there are measures in place to check full payment of fees as key condition for qualification to write the examination.

Bowen University Student Bags Overall Best Delegate Award at AIMUN

Bowen University receives accolades at the 5th Abuja International Model United Nations (AIMUN 2020).

The 5th AIMUN was sponsored by the United Nations Information Centre, and the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

AIMUN is the most authentic simulation of the United Nations activities that offers educational platform for upcoming leaders to engage in current international issues and challenges, multilateral negotiations, diplomacy and compromise tendencies, debating skills, critical thinking and other requisite skills, tools and knowledge required to keep up with the future leadership tasks ahead of them.

The Conference held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja, from January 28-31, 2020.

One of the delegates of Bowen University, Ajayi Samuel, representing the Kingdom of Netherlands won the highly coveted OVERALL BEST DELEGATE Award. Amidst delegates from other universities including University of Ibadan, Obafemi Awolowo University, University of Nigeria, Babcock University amongst others. The other Bowen University delegates were not left out as they also performed excellently during both plenary and committee sessions, carting home the following awards:

1. Best Delegate, Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC) Ojo Oreoluwa
2. Best Delegate, UN Legal Ajayi Samuel
3. Best Position Paper, Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC) Ojo Rita
4. Outstanding Delegation Award Bowen University
