Memorandum of Understanding
We are thrilled to announce that Bowen University, under the visionary leadership of Prof. J. O. Babalola, FAS, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute (NSPRI) to drive groundbreaking innovations in agriculture and postharvest technologies.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Prof. Ademola Ayeleso – Director of Research and Strategic Partnerships, Dr. James Akinbode – Deputy Director of Research and Strategic Partnerships, and Prof. Bolanle Otegbayo – Professor of Food Science and Technology & Provost, College of Postgraduate Studies.
They were warmly received by Prof. Lateef Oladimeji Sanni, Executive Director of NSPRI.
This strategic partnership sets the stage for:

- ✅ Staff and student exchange programmes
- ✅ Professionalization of postharvest innovations and technologies
- ✅ Co-hosting of conferences, workshops, and symposia
- ✅ Exchange of research materials and publications
- ✅ Development of agribusiness skills for youth and women through shared learning at postharvest incubation and outreach centres
