1. SPORTS UNIT
- Sports Officer (BUSS 07)
- QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Candidate must possess the following Qualifications:- Good O’ Level certificate 5 O’ level credits in one sitting or 6 ‘O’ level credits in two sittings, to include English as well as Mathematics.
- Possession of a good honours degree not below Second Class Lower in Physical Education or related discipline from a recognised institution
- NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
- DUTIES
- Assists in the organisation of workshops, seminars and courses.
- Assists in collating quarterly reports on sports development.
- Participates in sport development at the grassroots.
- Performs all other duties as may be assigned by the Superior Officer.

- QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Candidate must possess the following Qualifications:- To be qualified for the position, the candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Good O’ Level certificate 5 O’ level credits in one sitting or 6 ‘O’ level credits in two sittings, to include English as well as Mathematics.
- Certificate of proficiency in Computing – Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Corel Draw, etc)
- Any additional qualification will be an added advantage.
- Excellent practical computer literacy and typing skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Agility and adaptability in a dynamic setting.
- DUTIES
- The successful candidate, on a day-to-day, would be responsible for carrying out the following assignments:
- Provide administrative support and clerical services.
- Operate computer systems and software applications.
- Prepare documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Maintain accurate records and files.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the Registrar or supervisory officer.

3. REMUNERATIONS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
Bowen University runs a unique remuneration package, similar to what is obtainable in other tertiary institutions. The University is a fully residential institution. Consequently, the staff of the University must reside either in Iwo or Ogbomoso, as the case may be.
