Matriculation
Yesterday marked a significant milestone on our campus as nearly 1,600 students across 7 colleges took their matriculation oaths, officially becoming bonafide Bowenites. The 23rd Matriculation Ceremony, originally scheduled for December 2024, was moved to allow students with outstanding O’level deficiencies to complete their requirements through the recently released 2025 GCE results.
Delivering an inspiring matriculation lecture were twin brothers and distinguished professionals, ‘Gbite Falade (MD/CEO, Aradel Holdings Plc) and Leye Falade (MD/CEO, Brunei Liquefied Natural Gas), who shared invaluable insights on leadership, excellence, the GOD factor, and navigating the future.
On behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Jonathan O. Babalola, FAS, the university management, the 17,000+ alumni who’ve walked these grounds, and the entire Bowen community, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the newest members of the Bowen family.
