• Lecturer I

Candidate must possess the following Qualifications:

1. Possession of an M.Sc. degree in Nursing Science with an area of specialty in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing post M.Sc.
2. A Ph.D. degree in Nursing will be an added advantage or evidence of registration for an on-going Ph.D.
3. Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (RN, RM)
4. Previous adequate University teaching experience of at least three (3) years.
5. Substantial and quality research publications in reputable national and international journals.

• Lecturer II

1. Possession of M.Sc. degree in Nursing Science with an area of specialty in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing.

2. Must be registered with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board  (MRTB) of Nigeria with a current practicing licence.
3. Possess a minimum of two publications in reputable journals for candidates with Ph.D and five publications for candidates with M.Sc. degrees.
4. For candidates with an M.Sc., they must have evidence of having been involved in a University educational programme for a minimum of two years.

• Lecturer II

Candidate must possess the following Qualifications:

6. The candidate must be able to supervise postgraduate students in his/her areas of specialization.
7. The candidate must have supervised a reasonable number of undergraduate and postgraduate students to completion.
8. Registration with ARCON and NIA, as Professional bodies is compulsory.

ii.      Knowledge of IFRS is required
